Therapy Isn’t Just for My Clients, It’s How I Learn to Be with Myself

I’m someone who needs movement to think straight, long walks, stretching while the kettle boils, rearranging furniture just because it feels better that way. I keep a playlist for every mood and a stash of half-finished notebooks. When things get heavy, I bake. Not fancy stuff, just warm, simple things that make the house smell like comfort.

Being a therapist helps me slow down and pay attention. It’s taught me how to sit with hard feelings without rushing to fix them, and how to show up for people in a way that feels steady and real. That’s how I try to live, too, not perfectly, but with care.

My Philosophies Weren’t Chosen from a Textbook, They’re What I Pieced Together Over Time.

I don’t see therapy as a service, I see it as a commitment. I show up with curiosity and consistency. I believe people aren’t problems to be solved, they’re stories worth understanding.

Therapy Should Be Honest, Not Performative

You don’t need perfect words, just honesty. I hold space for what’s real, even when it’s messy or unclear.

Naming Things Brings Emotional Relief

Naming what’s heavy eases the weight. Therapy brings comfort and direction by making what’s unclear feel truly seen.

Change Starts with Self-Compassion

Growth begins with noticing, not judgment. Therapy helps you meet yourself gently, so change feels compassionate, not harsh.

The Gift of Presence

I’ve learned that healing beings when someone doesn’t have to face it alone.

Being understood Matters

I’ve learned how simply saying “I believe you” can shift everything, inside, between and beyond.

What Guides Me When Things Get Hard

When life feels heavy, I take a step back and reconnect with what matters, who I am, what I value, and the goals that keep me grounded. I’ve learned that healing doesn’t need perfect answers, just space to reflect and feel supported when everything inside feels uncertain.

Sometimes that space looks like stepping outside and playing with dandelions, watching them drift, letting go, and remembering that softness can be strength. It’s how I stay connected to myself, even when things feel hard.

Why People Choose Me: I Make Things Simple and Easy to Talk About

People choose to work with me because I see what’s underneath. I notice patterns others might miss, and I help name the things that have felt too tangled or too quiet for words. In session, you don’t have to perform or pretend, realness is welcome here. I bring curiosity, clarity, and care, so you can start making sense of what’s been hard to hold alone.

I completed clinical training in 2019. Before starting my own practice, I spent years in community mental health, working with individuals who’ve often had to carry too much for too long, and who rarely get the care they deserve. That stretch of time taught me a lot, about systems, about burnout, and about the kind of slow, steady work that makes healing possible.
