Find Your Balance, Find Your Words, Find Your Rhythm. Therapy Meets You There

Welcome. If you’re here, something in you is already reaching for change, quietly or urgently. Maybe you’re carrying stress, fatigue, or a story that’s been hard to speak aloud. This space offers more than support, it offers steady presence, honest connection, and real care. No pressure. No pretending. Just room to breathe, recalibrate, and begin again, with clarity, strength, and time.

This Is a Garden for Everything You’ve Buried, and for the Healing That Blossoms When You Let It Breathe.

You don’t have to downplay your pain to match someone else’s idea of strength. If you’ve been holding it together for too long, or burying hurt beneath productivity, this is a space to feel fully, without apology, and begin healing on your terms. If that speaks to you, you’re not alone.

The Kind of Overthinking That Never Lets You Rest

The cycle of overthinking, replaying, and second-guessing wears you down, and rarely brings the clarity you’re after.

You’re Tired in Ways No One Can See

You hold it together for others, but inside you’re drained, quietly wondering how long you can keep performing strength.

You Feel Distant, Even When You’re Not Alone

Even in a crowd, you feel distant, wondering if the depth you offer is simply unnoticed, or simply misunderstood.

Hello there

I’m Angela Jordan

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults feeling stuck, in their relationships, careers, or inner lives. Whether you’re overwhelmed, burned out, or quietly unsure of what’s next, therapy can be a space to pause and make sense of what’s hard to name. My approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental, blending emotional clarity with evidence, based tools to help you move forward with intention.

What You’ll Get with Me

I take your pain seriously. But I also believe in finding lightness where we can. Therapy with me is relational, steady, and never rushed. Together, we’ll make space for what’s hard and relearn how to feel ease again.

Therapy Is a Process, Here’s How We’ll Navigate It Together

Therapy is a journey, and every step matters. Some days bring big breakthroughs; others bring moments of reflection. There might be ups and downs, but each part of the process helps you build confidence, emotional strength, and deeper understanding. We move together, with curiosity, care, and trust, toward growth that feels real and lasting.

Themes We Explore in Session: Religious Trauma & Deconstruction, Queer Identity Exploration, Identity & Self-Worth, Couples Dynamics & Relational Repair, Life Transitions & Identity Shifts, Family Systems & Generational Beliefs

A Ground to Stand On

I offer a quiet, steady space, a place to pause, be real, and not have to hold it all together.

Making Sense of What You’ve Been Carrying

As you begin sharing, I start to understand what this loss has felt like from the inside.

Support for the Hardest Days

We figure out how to support you in the hardest moments, the ones where grief takes over.

Making Sense of What Changed

We explore how this has changed your sense of self, and what rebuilding might gently look like.

Progress That Doesn’t Rush You

Over time, something shifts. You begin to feel clearer. Less alone. And more able to imagine what’s next.

Therapy Isn’t Just My Profession, It’s How I’ve Learned to Stay Present in My Own Life

As a Black therapist, I’ve learned that presence isn’t something I turn on for work, it’s something I’ve had to build into my life. I read memoirs by other Black women because they speak to things I’ve lived through, things I’m still figuring out. They help me stay connected to myself, especially in the middle of parenting, work, and everything else that fills a day.

Therapy has shaped how I move through all of it. It’s taught me to pay attention to what people carry, even when they don’t name it. That’s how I work, with care that’s informed by experience, and a way of listening that’s been shaped by my own healing. I’ve learned that silence often holds just as much as words, and that presence can be a form of advocacy. In every session, I bring both skill and soul, because healing isn’t just clinical, it’s relational.

Licensed, Qualified, and Trained to Hold Space

I earned my master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017 and became a licensed professional counselor shortly after. Before starting my private practice, I worked in community mental health, supporting individuals navigating poverty, systemic barriers, and complex trauma. That work shaped how I show up: with steadiness, clarity, and a deep respect for resilience.

Notes on Care and Connection

This blog is where I think out loud, about healing, being human, and the little moments that stay with us. I believe in small, intentional movements: quiet presence, gentle reflection, and the kind of care that lingers softly.

It’s not a space for advice or answers; just shared thoughts offered with care. Whether you’re a client, a curious visitor, or someone simply wandering through, I’m glad you’re here.

Like the bee, I believe in small movements that carry deep meaning.

You Deserve to Be Seen, and Supported in Ways That Actually Help

Life can be heavy, but you don’t have to carry it alone. Here, you’ll find a steady space to unpack what’s been weighing on you, reconnect with your strength, and move forward with clarity. The first step is yours to take.

Reach out for support whenever you’re ready, this space is here to meet you where you are.
