Navigating the Cost of Care: What Therapy Costs and What You Can Expect

Good Faith Estimate Policy

As your care provider, I want to be transparent about costs. If you’re not using insurance for sessions, you have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before therapy begins, including any related costs like assessments or materials. You can request this estimate at least three business days before your first session, or anytime before scheduling. If your final bill ends up more than $400 above the estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges. I encourage you to keep a copy of your estimate for your records. For more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059. If you’d like an estimate or have questions, I’m here to help.
